Learning English means you need to learn idioms. Idioms are fun little word phrases that each have their own unique meanings. In this English lesson on the farm we'll go outside and I'll help you learn 12 English idioms that have their origins in farming.

It was a beautiful day to go outside on the farm and teach some English, so I hope you enjoyed all the views while you learned some English!

I hope this English lesson on idioms helps you immensely!

Have a great day!

⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Stop and smell the roses...
A bump on a log...
A needle in a haystack...
To hit the hay...
Everything is going to be roses..
Late bloomer....
A Stick in the mud....
Short end of the stick..
To turn a new leaf..
In a nutshell....
Thank you so much, Bob, for these lovely idioms!! 👍👍😍
