Dear Sarah, your video came up on my YouTube and I am loving your way of explaining. I hope you don’t mind this long comment.

I will turn 70 in 2 weeks time. I am recovering from a couple of operations in Sept. and want to ‘get back to life’ after being isolated since 2020. And I suddenly desired to mark this by changing my style (or rather returning to what I actually love which is bright clear colours).

I am a red head with grey-green eyes, pale skin and freckles and I have been wearing browns, rust, orange and green colours as well as black and white for a couple of decades, thinking that these autumn colours were ‘my’ colours.

Then last year I needed to fit a colour scheme for a wedding and got a royal blue outfit. Well, to my great surprise royal blue suits me better than any other colour - by far!!! Mid range blues on the violet side, purple and navy all seem to suit me so much better than autumn colours.

Researching in this last couple of weeks, it seems I probably have cool undertones in my skin. I have also been wearing the wrong colour lipsticks 😮.

Color palette is so true. You think just because you’ve figured out your color season that you can wear every color in it but that is not true. Some of them will not always work! Thank you ❤
