Parents express concern over lack of remote learning options

Some parents are pulling their kids out of school due to lack of remote learning options

We are in the Marysville school district and the online option in our district is frustrating. It’s strictly computer base no books, paper, activities no live teacher or students. Our kids are 5 and 6, and we are so sad to know their was no good options for our children especially since our 1st grader is in the highly capable program. We feel so frustrated and anxious now having to find different online or homeschool options since we will be decided to pull them out of the school district.

this is very bad situation for parents. we are forced into the decision and school districts are blind to the delta spike. we should join forces (parents) to raise our voice against mandated in-person and demand bringing back virtual learning (like we had in 2020). kids are already feeling the stress of not meeting their classmates and homeschooling option that school district points makes it lot worst.
