DF shares his fourth evolution following last years Underwater exploits @nortondisneyembryo !
.
He is adamant from watching the Carp feed on hard spots on camera, that if you shorten your hook links by half you will double your catch results! 🤯🐋

Short rigs work in that situation. In fact, you're just filming in front of the camera. In that case, you're fishing over a tight spot, baited with little bits and bobs. In that specific situation the fish doesnt move a lot to go from a bait to another thats why they are so close to the bottom.
Try short rig over a large bed of boilie and you see that it'll cost you hell of lot carps !!
In my opinion IT'S the limits of the underwater films, it cover just one specific situation which is fishing on a tight spot.
Thats why short rigs are so deadly in PVA bag !

I use a 50ft korda hooklink and "believe me' it has trebled my catch rate, 'trust me ' ive even caught fish out of spooners swim next to me 😂

It’s been devastating in France. 3-4” hook links, lead clip and a big lead just pushed on with a slip D and double corn, plenty of putty on the break of the braid, tighter clutch and as soon as they move that bait they’re getting nailed every time in the bottom lip with a klor or trig-hammer hook.

Lead comes off and it’s game over so far - 3 minimal bites = 3 big carp 👌🏼
3.5 days to go 🎣 🚨 🥅

Great stuff, normally the guy who always seems to catch multiple fish at the lake don't want to tell you nothing

To be fair I've always gone between 6 an 1.5 inches because I've always thought the longer the hooklink even if you have anti tangle sleeves on you have way more chance of tangles an yeah I fished with 1.5 inch rig because I felt like it 😂

Zatnie pieknie ale co później z holem ryby na tak krótkim przyponie i ciężarkiem centrycznym machajacym się przy pysku ryby?

Wrong advice! Short rigs will cost you fish. Short rigs where a hype 15 years back and was never a good choice to use. You wont catch big fish with ultra short rigs. Cant believe that he is telling shit what was tested and tried long ago and didnt work

This is horse shit, you need the longer hooklink so when the fish comes down and sucks up your hookbait it then is able to lift its head and move before it feels the rig and shakes it head then bolts, hooklinks that short would spook the fish as soon as it moves
