[SFM Creepypasta] Emergency Alert System

Показать описание
On a Friday night like any other, relaxing in front of the TV, an Emergency Alert System message would warn of something terrible coming.

Thank you for watching! This SFM was a little different compared to the others since I didn't use an already written story or anything like that, so if the pacing was a bit off, that would be the reason why. This one was heavily inspired by all the EAS creepy videos out there, and I thought I'd animate an actual situation like that.

No way you can't feel bad for the main character, he was just chillin drinking some coca cola.

I love the fact that he has a curious factor to where he can’t ignore and a paranoid factor just shows some of humanity’s features.

I love the small interactions that actually feel human, attention to detail and taking time to animate will always amaze me.

Y'know I'm kind of getting annoyed at people calling the Main Character dumb for acknowledging the creature- I mean you would too. He remains quiet, he listens to the tv, and was actually respectably brave when the monster was banging on the door, yet when you've got a monster right next to you, you'd probably slip up and stare. Amazing work

Well done on this! I love that the Main Character actually listens to the warning instead of just ignoring it and hiding or running. Its a nice play on the situation and there is a lot of suspense when you see the main character shaking violently. Can't wait for you next video!

Imagine instead of sitting and letting the monster get in, you just assert dominance with a Source A-Pose

1:58 h-he closed the blinds back?
An actual smart creepypasta character?!

I agree with all the positive comments everyone else is leaving on this - but on top of that, I actually found the monster reveal to be creepy as all hell! The size of the thing, the way it just hung there in front of him... I don't know, it just hit right for me. I guess I get immersed in stuff like this real fast, and it's easy for me to imagine how I'd feel if I had to sit still and act natural while that thing is hovering in front of me, but even then I think that speaks to the strengths of your presentation.
Excellent stuff as always.

Ah yes, my greatest fear. A creepy disembodied voice coming from my television telling me that I’m in immediate danger in which I cannot control the circumstances. Love that.

I clicked this not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised at how good and downright scary this was. the constant building dread of what is out there is flawless. The only bad thing I can say is if you had not shown the monster and kept it in a 1st person view the entire time, it would have been a better end. Leave the design of whatever horror did all this too the imagination because the mind can come up with something much more scary without seeing the monster.

Brimming with tension and atmosphere, handled with a subtle finesse. Beautifully captures the paranoid fears the imagination conjures up when thinking of EAS tones.

I live in the countryside, one of the most haunted forest in finland is very near my home. I've went there a couple of times. There's no animals in sight, no bird chirping or even mosquitos in summer. When i went there with my friends i drove trough the forest. I started smelling a strong metallic smell and looked on the road there were candles on the side of the road. I continued further and i saw someone moving on the road i stopped and it was some man. I asked him what was he doing and does he need a ride. He Said he's good and continued walking.

One of the worst fears to experience is the fear that something is horribly wrong. That somewhere out there, something *could* happen to you, but there's no guarantee. This is the fear of emergency alert systems. That tight, constricting anxiety that makes you want to run, but knowing that running could not help, the fear that things will never be the same, the fear that you aren't safe. That the comforts of home can't protect you. That the only thing you could do is to follow instructions, hide, and pray.

I get so hyped whenever you upload one of these lol

I like how instead of just trying to avoid the Emergency Alert System, he is actually concerned for his own safety and listens to the instructions. True warrior!

Do you know what I love the most about YOUR videos? How well you animate, and that you use realistic models, not TF2's ones. That's some love for art right there. Thank you very much!

C'mon man, you did such an AMAZING job at keeping horror in a viewer until you showed the actual creature at the very end! The scariest thing is in our own imagination. You shouldn't have shown the creature especially when it's SFM. I felt pressure on my chest this whole video! And then that silly red head showed up, all the pressure immediately was put away by laughter.
BUT it's still such a GREAT work really really really well done! I'm really happy I found your channel and I REALLY hope you will do more such animations! Or whatever you want, you have really cool ideas!

I always love how every emergency alert system horror story starts with a relatively ominous warning about something and gives you fairly basic to follow instructions. And then at the end the government or whatever took control of the government is basically telling everybody the entire nation and possibly world is screwed lol. It's not the most realistic take but it is certainly funny.

The Half-Life 2 models are perfect for this. There is just something about their faces that makes you empathize with them significantly more than models from other video games.

2:44 - "I'm honestly surprised you're still reading this lol"

I was curious lmao
But this is a great animation and it gave me the chills. I like how human you make these characters seem, even through text
