On some f those coni bears I would fence them in a little bit more and put a dive stick over them. It appears that there is a bit too much room for the beaver to go around the trap and not into them and if they are too deep the beaver will just swim over them. Can you see where the feed pile is or are they going up the bank and cutting down trees? Look for where they are leaving the water and getting on land to get something to eat. Those places are where I would look to put in traps. Good luck. We all want to help someone be more successful.
