I'm learning so much from your videos. I used this one to help me create a Monthly Sales Tax "Report". I'm using Filemaker Pro 12.
I'm getting all my fields from the related table, Invoices.
I want to display the sales tax only if the invoice as been paid. There are a couple of fields from the invoice that I could use to indicate the invoice has been paid;
1) Payment Status which is a drop down box giving 2 choices; Paid, Unpaid
2) Payment Date

The Monthly Taxes layout has these parts with these fields:
Header : Title of Report
Sub Summary : Field Names
Body : Month, Payment Date, Show Tax Amount
Sub Summary : Monthly Tax Total
Trailing Grand Summary : Taxes Grand Total which adds up all sales tax from each month.

I've written several scripts using If, Case and Get functions but I am obviously doing something wrong because either the tax amount always shows or it gives me a zero or a question mark..

Can you help me?

Great Tutorial, thanks, However I did noted that in each Month you're mixing years, so in January may appear dates from 2018 and 2019 as well, maybe you may need to add the year to de MonthName Calculation.

Nice clear tutorial, but what if you had Dec 2019 and Dec 2018 would they both sort into the same "December group"

Hi! Thanks so much for your great tutorials! Would it be possible for you to make a video on how to create a script that exports and imports a portal with records? I am struggling with get this working and your videos are very clear to follow, which I could use. I need this option in my solution in case I would update my current solution so users can simply export their portal records from the old solution version into the new updated solution.

Mr Sunny, good morning! I am a fan and follower of your filemaker tutorials, my knowledge is very basic, what I mean is: download one of your subsummary examples and adapt it to my needs, but I have done something wrong, since I want to print only the results and I could not achieve it. I explain a little more than what is involved:
I have 3 categories of machines.
1 Molding machines
2 cutters
3 Stamps
I have a Table with the 23 Shapers
MO 1
MO 2 etc
The same in Cutters and Stamps
in them I get the expenses per month and per year, so far I am fine. My problem is that I can't find a way to create a report in which I can print the annual cost of each machine.
Can you help me by giving me an idea of ​​how to do it? Please.
