Very well explained! The only difference I noticed was that rke version 1.1.7 had problemas to conected to the virtual machines. I just upgraded to 1.4.1 version and worked well.

Great tutorial, really appreciate it, thanks. 1 suggestion, maybe look to get a different mic, its got a lot of distortion at higher volume (don't know if there is a better description)

It would be great if you also create a demo about installing Custom CNI like Multus-CNI or Contive VPP CNI using Rancher RKE. Also with Kube adm a good idea. Anyways, great job till now !!

Hello Venkat Bro,
kubernetes was a monster for me. But through ur videos I am learning to understand and grab the concepts easily. Thanks a lot and my best wishes for u.

Could u pls try to put a video of installing gitpod on self-hosted kubernetes. Since it’s recently released for open source, there is no much documentations made for it. If u can try it and show us it would be very helpful. Thanks again 🙏🏻😊

Thanks your video 😊 … this is really very clear and nicely explained … can you please tell me what all jar it will need to install while creates cluster ..basically I want to see that cluster log in UI ..actually I am trying this in my work place having so many restrictions as you know..I can’t use docker registry ..so all those rancher internal jar I need to download then store somewhere to pull while running cluster ….so if I have those jar list then I can share to our resource team for download….

I don't see any exposed ports on the kube-apiserver... how do we connect kubectl to this cluster? I'm a bit confused here.

Hey a question why does you set all the nodes as control plane? can it be just 1 control plane and 1 worker?

Hi Venkat...Thanks for the tutorial...In my case I tried with 2 node cluster with both nodes having all 3 roles ( worker, control plane and etcd)...kube config also shows second node within itself...However, if Ishut down first node, entire cluster goes down...Quite wiered..Any idea?

Hello Venkat, is it possible to use docker instead of the vagrant(VM) to spin up the master and worker nodes to set up a k8s cluster? For example, I have one physical machine, and I would like to run 2 master nodes and 3 worker nodes on top of that physical machine. But I'm hesitating that if I should use docker or VM to run the nodes. I also noticed that pretty much every available videos online using vagrant(VM) to run the nodes instead of docker.

Thank venkat sir for full filling the commitment of releasing Rke cluster on time. could you please show how to deploy rancher in that rke. Because I tried but faced tls and cert manager issue with rancher while accessing from browser. 404 default Thx again

Taken 4 machines.
3 - Rke cluster
1- lb Nginx
Getting 404 default error. Too much confused concerning how certificates works and tls works between ingress to rancher. Thx

Awesome ...is there any resources you can point me to which has a boot strap of rke and Kops, or some shell script which create nodes using terraform ( in AWS, or GCP, or Azure) and this rke steps are bootstrapped
