After waiting for a very long time. I finally received my K1 Max with great anticipation I open the box follow the instructions step-by-step not deviating at all.

The printer will not print it will not do a first layer no matter what you do with the printer. moreover the LIDAR Is A LIE.

, there is no tech support for this printer and I have yet to have anyone from tech support reach out to me in regards to the many many problems I have with this printer

does the offset cannot be set manually it has to be set through their automated process which does not work it sets the nozzle too close to the build bed therefore you cannot make a proper first layer

, the pause during print feature says that function is not allowed during a print so when you do have a problem during the print you can't pause it or stop it the only way you can do it is to turn off the printer

, it's advertised as an out-of-the-box printer. it is not it's not even close to that don't buy into that lie.

as for Quality it doesn't have any mine was bent the top glass won't even fit the door barely closed the screen is not very touch-friendly even though that's how you have to use it,.

getting it tied to the internet that was a joke their networking system just kept failing after failing after failing it didn't matter if it was wired or through Wi-Fi did not matter.

it is incredibly loud especially when they're cooling fan kicks on they claim that they're quieter than the bamboo yet another lie because I have four bamboos and they print perfectly.

y'all can do what you want to do with your money but I would never waste it on this creality printer ever buyer beware.

I totally get where you're coming from, buddy. Your frustration is all because the issue hasn't been fixed yet. My max is still in transit, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is just a minor hiccup, especially since the K1 has been working pretty darn well till now

Printing for 25 years 😂 my mums been cooking for 50 years doesn’t mean she knows what she’s doing. The fact you don’t know what Lidar is tells me everything I need to know.

I have to ask, did you turn the first layer and lidar detection on? Cause when you get the printer, they're off. Having used mine a bit more, the foreign object detection is only on before you print. It can't distinguish what you're printing now with another object. It's a bit misleading, but the idea is that it won't start a print until you've cleared the last print.

A bad tradesman ALWAYS blames his tools.
Good example here.

Not sure what K1 max you got but within 1 hour of it landing on my door step, I was already up and printing. This printer is absolutely amazing! It is not junk, it is super fast, and built very solid. I am printing a large print right out of the box which will take nearly half a roll and it will be finished before morning Before It took me over 2 days. The print is looking great, silky smooth, nothing like yours.

light detection and ranging. Yes, it looks to me like that is what it is.
Pulse of light goes out, combination of TTL and phase angle determines the distance. That's all there is to it.

I get it, this has to be frustrating. At the end of the day, you made a video showing a 3D printer that you ripped and broke parts off of. Then you asked us to believe that its lack of detection and poor performance has nothing to do with the fact you tore off what sounds like a key component. You would think that 25 years of experience would have taught you that even great products with great production occasionally produce lemons. It SUCKS, With so many people owning this product and having none of the same problems you are, don't you think maybe, maybe, you got a lemon? and that this shouldn't be a reflection of a normal experience with this product? I would say try reaching out to customer service if this video is a good example of how you handle things, then I doubt anyone is really going to put any effort into making this right for you. That old honey and vinegar thing, and you are spilling over with vinegar. Hope your day gets better. Your situation really does suck and I really do feel for you, at $800 to $1, 100 dollars for that printer, it's reasonable to not be in a great mood. However, you said you have already left multiple 1-star reviews, and you are checking back in on those reviews, modifying the product and running it with missing components so you can make an angry video, not to mention taking the time to upload that video, add descriptions, thumbnails, titles. I can't imagine this to be a healthy way of managing the situation, so I am being genuine when I say, I hope YOU let your day get better. I was being bombastic about you breaking off pieces, I don't actually think you broke anything and I didn't see any evidence of damage, the language was more to drive the point home of how it might appear from the viewer's perspective it they were not watching as closely as I was.

I mean, did you go in the settings and even turnnon the "lidar" usage? The printer comes with it disabled

Sorry for your experience but that is a LIDAR Light Detection and Ranging. It uses the light and the camera to do exactly that. Im not saying that their LIDAR is any good im just saying that it is a LIDAR.

What is the brand and type of filament you're printing?

I did all the calculations on it which is self explained on the tab that says calculations. I been printing 24/7 for about a month without bed leveling. Once I did that initially I haven't had an issue. Your video is not fair to the brand.

My K1 Max is pretty awesome. I have both Bambu and K1 Max, but honestly only got the K1 Max for the build plate size. I would be all Bambu if they had bigger sizes. My only issue with the K1 Max is loading filament was basically impossible for me. Every time I'd push it through it would never catch into the extruder it would just get stuck on a ledge. My solution was to remove the bowden tube completely (besides a small piece that comes out of the extruder to prevent bending of the filament) and make a filament spool mount that sits above my printer. I only print in PLA and PETG so I printed a riser for the glass top and I just feed the filament through a hole in the riser. Works great now and so much easier to load filament.

You must just have been unlucky. I have taken delivery of my K1 Max and it does what it says on the tin. So easy to get working out of the box. So much easier than my start-up machine the Ender 5 Pro. This may not be the best printer out there but for ease of setup it has to be good value.

Weird. My K1 Max has been running perfectly since I received it last week. 200mm/sec+ prints with a CHT nozzle. I love this thing.

Is it possible to replace it with one that doesn’t suck?

It's normal that it prints without the lidar, k1 is printing without it, the lidar it's only a n add-on

Quality on these seem to be hit or miss, as I've seen other reviewers have nothing but issues with theirs as well. I just received mine 5 days ago and the 3 bolts that secured the build plate were bent almost 45 degrees and almost impossible to remove, then all the wiring is just hanging loose inside the cabinet. There's 1 bare wire just dangling and not connected to anything. I haven't dared turn it on, as who knows what else is wrong with it. I sent an email to Creality as soon as I saw all this and I still haven't heard back. Has anyone been able to successfully contact them?

😂😂😂😂😂 Mine has been pumping out print after print after print just fine. Id even go as far as to say excellent print quality. But im curious if you activated any of the AI features before trting to use them. My Liedar has performed admirably. Every time it has flagged or stopped a print, there was an issue. Once when i forgot to wipe my pei sheet off with alcohol, again when i didnt use glue stick on the aftermarket pei sheet. The AI camera also works on mine. Doesnt bat 100% but does pretty well. The only issue is sometimes remote viewing can be glitchy. Ill have to close Creality Cloud completely and then restart the app to view the camera.

My k1 max worked for 4 days then crapped itself. It dug a hole in the build plate after an auto bed level, lidar etc all turned on. Destroyed the nozzle, bed and hot end. Now it's throwing an error 111 which is a circuit board failure. So disappointed. Support has been hopeless. I am returning it.
