California deputy killed in pursuit crash

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is mourning the loss of one of their own after a deputy died in a horrific crash during a pursuit Monday morning.

sad, but also kinda biased to the cop. What about the person with the car that the officer had the collision with? Dude was speeding in a pursuit, was it his fault he clipped the other driver? or was the other driver's fault? This report was way too biased in the cop's favor for my liking.

This officer was probably speeding tremendously high in the area. I believe most officers and these type of situations obviously go faster than the average car but usually not that fast. And we all have seen officers go extremely fast and pursuits that fly by us and we also think when we see this is damn slow down. This was probably the case.

I used work as a pursuit driving instructor, this was uncalled for. Pursuits are more dangerous than most of crimes they committed in the first place. No excuse for not having a Grappler on every police car.

Cops don’t get immunity just because of “lights”

I recently had a police officer driving next to me and as we reached a red light he wasn’t paying attention but I was and he had to slam his brakes and swerve into my lane and almost wreck into me but again I was paying attention and was able to move over a little bit to give him space. He fully committed to my lane after that and proceeded to turn his lights on after that so he didn’t look dumb and drove right through the intersection.

Police act like they aren’t humans.
