The appearance of the concept, by the way, is very aggressive and solid. In the presence of a huge trapezoid falshradiatornoy grilles, predatory LED headlights, a massive bumper with the original fog lamps - this is the front of the body.
Side of the concept car demonstrates excellent proportions of a large 7-seat SUV with a long bonnet, an even roof line, a tall windowsill of large doors, powerful splashes over the majestic wheel arches perfectly filled with huge 21-inch wheels.
The prototype became the third model in the VIZIV series (after VIZIV 2013 and VIZIV 2 2014) and looks the closest to mass production. It is assumed that the concepts hint at a new compact crossover, which Subaru will release in the near future.
The model shows recognizable LED headlamps and Subaru radiator grille, sliding rear doors, the absence of central body racks, roof mounts for bicycle transport and a large infotainment display in the cabin.
The VIZIV Future prototype uses the elements of the EyeSight autonomous control system developed by Subaru. It provides the vehicle with autopilot functions on the highway and automatic parking.
The prototype is based on a new global platform Subaru Global Platform with a hybrid powerplant. The latter includes a small turbo engine, an electric motor and a modernized symmetrical all-wheel drive system. Instead of the conventional propeller shaft, the scheme assumes the use of one motor on the rear axle, which makes the floor of the car flat, and the interior - more spacious.
It is expected that the serial version of the Subaru VIZIV Future concept will be released in late 2016 or in 2017.
