I had no idea this dude did all that. I first heard if him when he ditched the plane. As someone that makes $13 an hour it’s wild to me that these wildly successful and talented people would throw it all away for clout.

I call out a lot of obviously fake stuff on Reddit and Facebook. Sometimes I get some backlash from people who want to believe it's real, one of their common defensive points are "Why would anyone go to the trouble of faking this?" And then I remind them that one time some idiot literally crashed his plane for internet attention and a sponsorship deal

I liked Trevor. Skating my whole life, i get a lot of his antics and personality, knowing similar dudes growing up. That said, obviously the whole plane thing was a terrible, stupid act. I think grief and other issues clouded even Trevors judgement. I am glad he and anyone else is ok, and he learns something and works theough whatever he was going through that caused him to do something so insane.
