I'm 98% sure Yuri Lowenthal, the current voice of Spider-Man, voices the character known as Rice. Not only is Rice a very powerful general fighter he's also the King of Wiggin Specialists. So Bobobo-bo Bobo-bo turning into bread was not very effective against such a force. Rice is OP.

This show started making so much more sense to me once it was explained that their bits equal attacks and the winner is basically whoever gets their opponent lost inside a cavalcade of ridiculousness until they lose the plot succumbing to the antics
