Came up with a couple of ideas to use this Reekon M1 device for the table saw. Hope you can do better than I did.

I’m watching this in 2025. Great video! I’ve owned my M1 for about a year now. Prior to that, I acquired the Wixey Products Digital rip fence, which has the readout attach to the fence as it reads along a special rail in the front. Since the fence and rail are identical to the ones on my Laguna Fusion tablesaw, getting this and installing was a no brainer. The digital fence, however, is $499.

What you have done is great! And you can easily move the M1 from miter saw to tablesaw sled to rip fence. I would do one thing a little differently than you did it. You’re actually using the cutoff of the rip as your keeper. I would touch off the rip fence directly to the blade. Then move the rip fence as you normally would. Now you are keeping the usual keeper piece. If the M1 reads negative, just use the M1 FLIP function and you’re in business! What do you think?

Thanks for the video.
I have been looking at the measuring device since it came out and thinking of other uses for it, but you have shown other uses for it.
Are you from P.E.I ?
