Actually...Moldova had 2 electioms by the end pf 2020 which pretty much erased all russian influence there outside of Transnistria. In 2019 in parliamentaru elections, the pro-EU party got a majority of votes, and same goes for the 2020 presodential elections that they won.

Also, why doesnt Romania intervene, they would instantly intervene, mayne not to kill off Transnistria, but to defend the rest of Moldova. Many times irl we showed that we are willing to do many things for our neighbour, even with the most incompetent of govermments, with or without the USA on our side.
