Punk is about being yourself and not falling in with the rest of the crowd. In actuality, dressing like a "punk" is the opposite of what being a punk is all about... Getting a mohawk and wearing skinny jeans with a leather jacket and getting tattoos is really conformity because that is "what's necessary to be a punk". Damn true. I am 30+ and can easilly say that "having a punk attitude can go with you all life and it has nothing to do with fashion. Standing up for yourself and not being a "scenekid" is more punk than any old jacket.
