This is very strange. Kosem passed the whole reign of Murad being a blockage and I do believe her regency wasn't as stable as the show want it to be seen, and now she is crying his death. Murad has its own battles regarding its personality but his relationship with family and most importantly his mother didn't help. She took everyone away from him under pretext they were a bad influence. Maybe after all she is still a mother. But that's so hypocritical.
I might be late on this one but since everyone are saying what could have been of some characters and plots, I will express mine. My admiration for Gulbahar character is not a secret. However, in my opinion Gulbahar plot should have been more interesting if they developed her into Mahfiruze Sultan in the beginning. By what I have learned during the previous months, Mahfiruze and Kosem were great enemies, there is even one of their drama recorded in history. And instead of Safiye being enemi to kosem, she should have been a mentor to her.
I also think that they shouldn't replace Ibrahim's initial actor.

In history first Ibrahim didn't want to get ou of the Kafes because he suspect a trick of his brother.
But after seeing his body and Kosem told him that he will be maybe executed if he didn't accept to be a sultan according to a source ( or a legend) he was dancing in the harem
and said that the butcher (Murad) was dead. In truth, where Murad was "only" the butcher of his brothers and people who were victims of the laws concerning alcohol, Ibrahim was the butcher of his people.

Replacing the actor for Ibrahim was a huge mistake while he was a forgettable character and Sultan Ibrahim was considered one the worst Sultans EVER there was no need to replacing him considering the other actor was God awful and acted more like a comedy character out of a sitcom 😂😂
