Well, I like this tutorial because of React basics, but PHP part has some things that you never do that way, which of course has potential for refactor :)
In this case it would be much simpler and better to use Symfony Validator instead of Forms. Also, if you have anything more complicated than CRUD it is better to have separated Entity classes and DTO for validation.
