Google refunded the game purchases as well, not just the hardware purchases. Some publishers, like Ubisoft, also gave users a PC key for the games they bought on the platform.

I picked up a few locally for $10 each because people just wanted to get rid of them. I did the firmware update and now use them on my retro emulator computer.

The only game I bought for Stadia was Trials Rising. It was great as it worked well with Stadia's touch controls on my phone, controller at home, and keyboard at work. The fact that you didn't need to install anything (as long as you had chrome) and that you didn't need a subscription or have to wait in a queue made it great for quickly playing a bit on my work computer during a lunch break.

Steam is still the only platform where I'll buy digital games. I don't like the temporary quality of other platforms. It's nice that any time I build a new PC, my library comes along with it.

That free copy of Assassins Creed Odyssey I got for beta testing the service for them sure was a nice treat though. Glad to know the controllers aren't useless now. At least folks who liked it can still find them online or the original owners can use on PC games.

I got the stadia ultimate edition for free from youtube premium so now I have a free chromecast that I use to watch things and a controller I can use that is quite comfortable with a good battery life! Thank you for this because I would have had no idea

Hmmm would you say its worth picking up a stadia controller right now? I know its like around $30 on ebay but is it a good controller as compared to like picking up an xbox controller or etc?

My Stadia controller works great with the computer but I wanted to use it with Parsec and Parsec gets the button inputs confused with a single button triggering multiple units in Parsec

I got the cyberpunk + ultra deal they had a while back, and now have my money back. Bought cyberpunk on ps5, and use the ultra everyday so it's not too bad. Shame it shut down in my opinion, Pro had plenty of games for most people but clearly n wot enough people were using it and if Google had to quit they did so in the best possible way.

I got my Stadia controller working to play Xbox Game Pass but unfortunately the 'select' button doesn't work. Is there a way of rerouting a missing button or functionality?

I have an issue where it connects to my android device ok the first time (when paired).

Then if I connect it again after, it says connected, but it doesn't work, no input.

To fix I have to forget the controller and re-pair it everytime I try to use it.

Anyone else having this issue?
