How to delete undeletable unselectable files from Files app (Hey Apple, that's stupid)

This is how you can delete files that can't be deleted and selected in the Files app on iPhone and iPad.

I solved the problem another way, moving all the other files to my iPhone Drive isolating the problematic file in the folder (the file couldn’t be moved, deleted, etc), then I deleted the folder where it was. Done!

Well, unfortunately it didn’t work. I have an iPhone 8 plus so granted it’s a little bit “archaic”. But it still shouldn’t matter right? I follow the same pattern of shutting down my iPhone but yet that unbelievable file is still there. Any thoughts? I’d greatly appreciate it! Cheers! 😀

Hey this is Rich Pumphrey. I have an iPad Pro which has a file that is on the recently deleted files folder on iPad Pro, and every time I try to delete it, it says the operation could not be completed and there’s a message that pop up that says some thing about could not connect to the helper application. I have tried restarting the iPad, I tried restarting the iPad, and this one stupid file just does not seem to want to be deleted. I tried calling Apple support and they want you to read the stupid serial number on the iPad which I am partially sighted and cannot read so this puts that out of the question. Can you help me with the situation? Thank you so much.
