As the race for the White House intensifies, US Vice President Kamala Harris slammed her Republican rival and former President Donald Trump for enabling the overturning of Roe v Wade which followed the implementation of abortion bans in several states. The proclamation from the Democratic presidential nominee came while she was addressing a campaign rally in Madison, Wisconsin.

Harris’s campaign chose the deep blue capital for the campaign as they hoped the crucial state would vote in her favour. During her address, the vice president admitted that it would be a close race between her and Trump. “We know this is gonna be a tight race until the very end,” she said. “We are the underdog in this race, and we have some hard work ahead of us," she furthered.
