I get it about the charger, but many people are buying their second, third or fourth Tesla. We don't want to be charged for something. We already have, a charger. But you can also advocate for the fact that if you sell your car, you would like to give them a charger. But I do think it is the simplest thing. Just making the charger a separate charge, cuz let's be honest if it was included so would the price.

I have Premium Connectivity (annual), FSD(monthly), and MyQ (2-year). I think they are all worth the money but hoping FSD does not increase.
Keep up the great work!!

What was the point of this story? The only thing that I could tell that was "removed" was the portable charger and that was removed almost 2 years ago. All the other stuff were some sort extra purchase options that were never a part of the standard car anyhow. Intentionally crippling the car so it can't go as fast or as far as it could is a total dick move but thats not really removing something.

I made it to the end.
I plan on getting the new model Y.
Floor mats should be included... I rented a model 3 and it didn't have floor mats and there was a hole in the carpet.
FSD on a monthly basis.

I am a new Tesla owner here in the US as of 6/30/24 (Model 3 LR AWD). I bought the mobile charger but feel like it should have been included (as it apparently used to be) - especially given that some competitors not only include a hard-wired home charger, but will cover the cost of installation as well. I was also annoyed that Apple has stopped including chargers with iPhones too. I got a 30-day trial of Premium Connectivity and paid for a year subscription to it when the trial expired thinking it was a no-brainer great deal - mainly due to the included high-bitrate music streaming - only to now have that taken away from us next month. Definitely not happy about that - especially since I paid in advance for it through next July. Acceleration Boost has not been offered for the new Model 3 yet. I will probably buy it if it is ever offered. Overall, I am very happy with the car, but I agree that things like these hurt the experience and just feel kind of slimy.

Thank you for another great video. Made it to the end and the only thing I have subscribed to is the annual subscription so I can listen to live videos and preeman premium connectivity

On a lease is monthly FSD better? Would think so but does the $8, 000 financed in a lease more or less than $100/month???

So, if you don't pay for connectivity, then you still have a fully drivable car. You just don't have some extra features that are not key to the operation of the car. The big bad news will be when connectivity is required in order to operate your car.

This guy Elon is the richest man in the world and he’s out here charging us extra range and premium connectivity… what a guy😂

Floor mats are cheap, so I don't care that they aren't included.

Not having an EVSE cable included for free makes sense to me. Many folks are coming over to Tesla as a previous EV owner and already have an extra EVSE cable. All they need is the J1772 to NACS adapter.

That is certainly my situation if I ever get around to buying a Tesla.

Compared to other cars - it’s a better deal

I don't have a Tesla yet. Let's see what they will offer next year. Is this the Osborn Effect ?

Just to make a correction, miniREVs doesn’t make Model 3s. It’s the only reason why I haven’t purchased from them. I want a model like my car. Have any other similar recommendations that sell model 3s?

They subtract out potential gas savings but not add potential accessories 😤.
I don't like subscription based fees. Rather be one and done and upfront. Seriously bothers me to the point I might buy another brand.

The comment has already been made that if you already have an EV you probably already have a charging solution and the charger cost would otherwise be rolled into the overall cost. Also many EV owners live in housing (apartments or condos) with nowhere to install a charger. And the best reason is there are cheaper options that support non Tesla’s as well

Re FSD. If I could get it for $50 a month it would be worth it(Hey Elon, how about some cost cutting where it will do me some good;)
