Can't believe people are here supporting Skip. Only the casual sports fan gives him any validation. Any hardcore sports fan knows Skip has nothing but hyperbole to offer. He's the master of being contrarian, just so that one time out of a hundred that he's right, he can shout "I told you so!" from the rooftops. Even as a Cowboy's fan, I find it irritating beyond belief how much he jocks them. He has no ability to be impartial and subjective. He's a waste of airtime.

Technically at the time when skip made the comment about Tebow being a bigger draw than Kobe, he WAS a bigger draw. Kobe wasn’t winning any more championships and Tebow was going on that stretch run of miracle comebacks. It was truly phenomenal stuff

ESPN keeps Skip in prime time TV because he makes people hate him so much that they watch just to disagree with him. Trolls and antagonists have a lot of people who agree with them too, and they also boost ratings

I've watched Skip for over a decade and I've reached the conclusion that 1 of 2 things are true...

Either A- He is legitimately the most consistently incorrect, "wrongest" sports pundit in human history. OR....

B- That is his schtick...he intentionally takes outlandish positions to gain press, and uses the contraversy to score huge ratings, and laughs all the way to the bank.

I can't tell which. I hope he clears it up on his deathbed.
