The defendant seem to be a very respectful person. Kudos to her for staying strong after losing her job, about to be homeless, and for losing the son that used to live with her since he chose to be with his dad. She lost everything and must be feeling lonely, but is still striving for a better life. I wish her all the best! Remember people, your money is your best friend! The minute you hit rock bottom, you will be lucky if you have at least 1 person from your many friends to stand by you. Unfortunately, that’s the reality…

But for the fact that she was the sole provider for the kids while he was incarcerated, I would sympathize with him. Like dude, you were locked up for an extended period of time, . This is something he should let go, especially since she was laid off through no fault of her own.

This case bothers me. They chose to handle it outside of court but the moment she stopped paying, through no fault of her own since the company she was working for went under, they wanna drag her to not only JJ but child support court as well. She's even choosing to better herself and going to school so that she can get a better job and make more money. He clearly has more money than her, because he works a better job than she did, the new wife works and probably gets child support for her two kids, and the 17 yr old son has his own little job, while she's now jobless and about to be homeless. Make the 17 yr old pay for some of his own things in the meantime ffs. They're dead wrong for this imo.

The mother is doing a fantastic job under her circumstances.
She clearly displays an intention to pay as she has a history of making payments.
The only reason why she stopped was because she's unemployed. It's disgusting that they're kicking her while she's down.
Wasting the courts time. Take her to family court for child support or sort it out.

Why am I so hung up on her asking to approach the bench? Lol I think she thinks that means the table her husband is standing at but it actually means where the judge sits. "No don't approach the bench stand there" lol
