I'm just seeing this, He is a CAM/SS. He is the modern raumdeuter, which his role is to find space and exploit space. It isn't working at the moment due to his lack of confidence....but this is why Arteta brought him in, i love him ❤!

Arsenal fans are making the same mistake chelsea made. Playing him at false 9, as an 8 etc. He can only play in the hole and you have to change ur entire formation to fit him. hes a bench player to me when arsenal are healthy. Midfield 3 of rice partay odegaard much better. And that front 3 is set pretty much all the considered. The only open apot is striker because jesus is injury prone but sadly, he sucks at that position.

personally i think havertz best position is cam, centre attacking mid, he’s best at playing passes into the striker, or the wingers to support behind, but that was at bayer leverkusen…

at chelsea, he’s being played in a variety of positions, and he’s not played in any of them that well, he’s played striker and clearly not had the deadly finishing needed, wasted so many chances, at cm, he’s okay, at rw he’s lost, he needs to work on his ability at playing as a cam or just a centre mid, because he’s no where good enough to play as a number 9 or a false 9, firmino can because he can finish, so could nkunku, obviously very different levels of players but they both played the false 9 very well…

if havertz goes to arsenal or stays at chelsea, he needs to play at cam or just behind the striker, or he won’t do anything of note…
