In this episode I'll show you how the famous Decade Counter Divider CD4017 IC works.
We will quickly build a 10 step sequence and try the reset pin.
This is not an Audio Sequencer but a demo will be available soon.

Thank you! Now, if we want to add a 40106 audio oscillator to make this a musical sequencer, where does the output of the audio oscillator connect to the sequencer? How do you connect the potentiometers to vary the pitch of each sequenced note? Will you show us? Also, will you show a circuit that cascades additional 4017’s to increase the number of steps? I KNOW many of us would LOVE this information.
Thank you for doing these great tutorials. Your lessons are very helpful and MUCH appreciated.

What are those grey/green clamps called where you screw in the connections? I can’t find them online. Thanks.
