The American ppl want instant gratification without understanding the basic principles of economics. Without a recession, prices will not come down. There are policies where price gouging can be lessened but historically prices nvr come down. The first thing you can do is raise wages to mitigate this factor. As far as housing/rent costs are concerned, In the US there is a lack of supply when it comes to housing. Incentivizing home building would help. However back in 2020 when interests rates were historically low the housing market was bought up by wealthy real-estate firms and by international firms. Ppl had to rent and couldn’t buy by 2022. Simple supply and demand. Trump has no plan in place besides possible tax incentives. In the end, people are impatient and want everything now. That’s not realistic. Trumps economic agenda is a disaster. Harris is smart enough and compassionate enough to be a realistic agent of positive change. So basically, go back to school and start trusting the ppl that are smarter than you America. We cannot afford to go backwards. Nvr forget, Trump needs to win for his own personal wellbeing, Harris wants to win because smart policy works. Economic policies between both parties over the last 40yrs demonstrates this fact.
