This is a fanmade remaster of As Rome Burns. This version was made from the 2008-12-03 Gibson Amphitheatre performance.

'Remaster+' means I've split the source into stems using Demucs so I can have finer control over the individual layers of the song.

Definitely the best 'heavy' song Billy did post 2007. But I have a feeling if he ever did a studio version, it would sound way too 'polished' and nothing like the live performances of this which were excellent. That's the mistake he's made since he resurrected SP imo, no rawness comes across in any of the music he puts on CD anymore, whereas pretty much every album pre-breakup nailed it. Also he's trying to sing 'properly' now, which is never what SP fans asked for, we never were looking for 'correct' singing when we listened to SP in the 90s, in fact I'd say it was probably the opposite and we didn't care his natural singing voice wasn't textbook because it suited the songs he wrote perfectly.

Fuck yeah! Love this band since the moment I’d heard Cherub Rock in early ‘94 on a local rock radio station I’d guess? Thought Siamese Dream was incredible, then heard they had an earlier album, Gish, and was blown away. 52 yrs old now and still rock SP on the regular. Epic band. 🎸 🥁 🎶 🤘🏻

Amazing work. Been keeping an eye on your channel since FOL went up. At this point, Billy should hire you to do a remixed and "re-imagined" Zeitgeist plus the related era tracks for a reissue. There are those of us that think it's a solid SP record with confusing production. 2 CD set - Disc 1 is the complete "Silver" version with the title track tagged on the end as well as GLOW, SuperChrist and FOL. Disc 2 could be related outtakes, live, best verison of Gossamer etc. That's all it needs to be and I think alot of fans would fork over their cash for it. HINT HINT Mr. Corgan. I'll be first in line to buy.
