Great video. Some generic bars are preferable to others. (IE: Sunshine, Englehard) & RCM is also making bars. Worth mentioning is sales tax. Tax law will vary by location. But I can avoid 9% sales tax in California if I purchase $1, 500 of bullion at a time. That’s a huge savings! I’m looking forward to seeing your next video.

Solid advice. I have a good amount of American Eagles. Although the premiums are high, I believe I will recover those costs in the long term. I also have a lot of Silver Maple Leafs. Since I live in the US and my wife is Canadian, it makes sense for me to have coins from both countries. Now that I have more than 100 ounces of silver, I am concentrating on gold and 10 ounce Canadian Mint bars.

For the one month I have been stacking, the 5 and 10 Oz bars have often have a lower premium than 100oz bars.

Sovereign silver carries a higher premium. Another downside is that, in the USA, the purchase is taxable depending on which state you live in. For example, I bought 200 oz today. If I'd have bought Silver Eagles, I would have paid about $6, 500 PLUS another $400 in tax. SO, $6, 900 total. The premium is lower on Canadian Maples but, again, they are taxable. Total with tax would have been around $6, 000. So I decided to go with Sunshine Minting 1 oz rounds (aka The "other" silver eagle). These are NOT taxable in my state. My total out the door was $5, 100. Fun fact: Sunshine Minting is the US Government source for silver planchettes (coin blanks). So my rounds are struck from the exact same blank as the silver eagle and I got them 25% cheaper. Furthermore, Sunshine Minting employs some pretty sophisticated anti-counterfeiting technology so that's nice. In short - yes - sovereign silver is 'generally' easier to move.... But you are paying a 15-25% surcharge for it. Just something to take into consideration.

Good video, lots of sound advice in there. I would stick to gov backed coins and bars, unless you’re looking at an Engelhard.
