Loved twirling. Did competitions during the summer . We moved out of state as I was starting High School. I tried out and made the High School Squad. We were lucky and got to travel with the football team during the season. Night games were the best as we twirled fire batons. That was my favorite part of twirling. Thanks for the memories.

My Mom was a baton twirler in the 1940’s! I was one in the 1970’s and my daughter was one in the 1990’s!

One of my BFFs twirled batons inHS 1985. She went off to college and became a dentist. She went back to college to become a pediatric dentist and at 30 was a baton twirling at Univ of Kentucky.

WE HAD BATON TWIRLERS IN OUR AUXILIARY TEAM!!! ❤❤ I was in marching band, and part time flag thrower for auxiliary, and one of my friend's girlfriend was a baton girl. She showed me how to do it a few times, its tough!

❤❤❤❤❤ yes I do remember those I did have one but it wasn't for me either. But the long time ago when I was still a kid I had an inchworm 10 years old I love that instrument I swear I did then I had a a bum bike and I used to write that thing until I was like 15 years old and then my parents got rid of it but I think you still make bum bikes

When I was young I thought my only choices were cheerleader or majorette. I didn’t like gymnastics and like you I couldn’t twirl the bat-ton very well. Thank God my parents sent me to a school with a dance team😂.
