My brother brought home Time Further Out when I was nine. That was 1963. I’ve loved their music ever since

Brubeck came from a small town south of Sacramento, CA. He wrote a jazz mass "To Hope, " and performed it in the cathedral in Sacramento. I had the great pleasure of singing in the chorus with him and his son's quartet at that time. It was a fabulous experience to sing with a master and in the cathedral as well. The sound of music in a cathedral is very special. This was many years ago now, but an experience I'll never forget! Judith
