Rock Band 4's Horrible Loading Times - Much Worse Than Rock Band 3

So lets talk about what to expect from Rock Band 4 at E3 2016 and an update of what to expect from my channel at E3

This month is super busy for Harmonix and the Rock Band 4 team! We’ve got tons of announcements coming your way throughout the next couple of weeks, so let’s get started with some that we can share with you now!

DLC ARTISTS FOR JUNE

First and foremost, let’s talk DLC. This month will see a myriad of different artists come to Rock Band, and there’s sure to be something you’ll love from this month. Here’s the list of artists heading to the Rock Band 4 Library this June:

This happened for me on all the songs I've played. Not just limited to a certain song.

As an xbox one player (I don't know if this is just because of PS4), I've never even had a loading time after a song. And my starting loading times before the song are also very short. That might just be a console problem. But I have had problems before where if I select a song in quickplay it'll freeze up for 30 seconds before it loads to the difficulty selection screen. Drives me crazy because my game seems to freeze up more frequently when more people are playing.

I swapped out the standard hard drive for a hybrid and the load times are much better.

It's defiantly doesn't take that long on the XB1 .

Same issue for Xbox One. Loading DLC is just as bad too. I have to stop the game at least two or three times just to get DLC to load.

This only happens to me after a particularly long play session. Restarting the game helps for me

I haven't noticed anything on Xbox One but I'll check again in a bit. All export packs, and about 250 DLC installed

Mine takes like 5-10 seconds to load before a song, maybe less. I remember my game would freeze for like a full 2 minutes after every song before the results screen. I had to delete my save data and start over. You might have to do that too because that's not normal

Never had that issue on Xbox One, takes like 5-10 seconds

On ps4 I haven't had this issue in any song, 600+ dlc songs

I don't have this issue, only with LRB

Maybe it has something to do with the sheer amount of DLC you have on the hard drive? I have approximately 100 songs and it takes no where near that long (although getting back to the music library screen after a song still takes wayyyy longer than it should).

Sid, do you know that you can get rid of the setlist pane while building a setlist by pressing the triangle button or hit the yellow cymbal? hit it again and will reappear.

I don't have this issue. it may just be a bug with the particular song

So Sidd. I have a PS4. Looking at the times of the video, you are at 50 seconds just to get a song started and 30 seconds to exit the screen to the menu. I don't have nearly that kind of entrance and exit Surely this isn't uncommon and maybe a patch is necessary. I hope HMX is watching.

My load times aren't like this and I'm on ps4.

It loads fast for me. Yes, I do have it on the PS4. Maybe there's a problem with your PS4

Could be a PlayStation thing bc I play Xbox and it seems fine to me even with a little over 1000 songs but I do use a 3 tb external hard drive rated at a higher disk speed than the stock drive
