In the classical music world, there's a superstition that a composer will die after writing their ninth symphony. So Obadiah implies that the arc reactor will be Tony's last creation before killing him.

Classical musician here. Composer Gustav Mahler noticed how Beethoven and Schubert both died after finishing their 9th symphonies, and he said it must be a curse. And sure enough, it happened to him too. It's also happened to some other famous composers, and some have even been too afraid to compose their 9th symphonies, stopping at 8. I find that amusing.

Edit: One composer even skipped 9 and junoed straight to 10 😂
