Rheinmetall unveils Boxer 8X8 with Skyranger 30 turret!

At the international defense exhibition Eurosatory 2022 in Paris, France, German defense company Rheinmetall also introduced its new air defense system.
A mobile and modular air defense system is the Boxer 8X8 armored vehicle paired with the Skyranger 30 turret.
The Skyranger 30 is a hybrid solution designed to thwart a variety of aerial threats in modern combat.
The turret carries a 30 mm caliber automatic cannon and is integrated with a surface-to-air missile launcher and high-energy laser weapon (on the Skyranger 30 HEL variant).
With its cannon that can fire 1,200 rounds per minute plus guided missiles, the Skyranger 30 can reliably knock down flying vehicles such as drones, helicopters, or enemy aircraft.
The Skyranger 30 can protect mobile units on the move in the field or critical stationary infrastructure and facilities from enemy air threats.
As for the Boxer 8X8, which is famous for being tough, it can go up to 100 km/hour and operate as far as 1,100 km.
