No follow up question, it should not be allowed. Each reporter gets one question only. If none of reporters have questions, which is impossible because they always have questions, then the press briefing will be shorter in time and that’s okay, sometimes longer briefings on this day and another day shorter. The press briefing from the pentagon does not need to be thirty or more everyday. One day it’s only fifteen minutes and the other one hour. Letting reporters ask five or six questions each is wrong. Apparently the general and the spokesman enjoy answering questions. They should limit the number of questions to two at the most for each reporter, no more than that.

It’s not exactly good idea to tell the enemy exactly how many people are in or out and what time you are doing all this. It’s like people don’t realize that they can see our news stations also and use this information. If he says we can’t tell the number people complain, if he tells the exact number and Taliban use that info people complain. There’s no winning here.
