Acer Aspire 7 2018 // A Thin, Light & Powerful Laptop! 💪

Показать описание
The Acer Aspire 7 comes in a nice coolblue but it's thin, light and has enough performance for content creators and gamers. It uses an AMD Vega M GL GPU paired with a 4-core Intel 8th gen i7 CPU. The performance is good for photoshop, editing videos and the gpu is comparable to a GTX 1050ti. Watch for the full hands on and subscribe to see the full review.

Wow this 2018 model is actually not bad. The fact that its 4k and better srgb compared todays model. But on the other hand 2022 model really has that more power

It blows my mind, this video from Matthew is the only piece of evidence this laptop phisically existed, and it's almost a year old! Acer have released a ton of new products since April, the new laptops from the series: Swift, Spin, Chromebook, Aspire and Concept D but none are still sold anywhere. Makes me wonder why the big hold back and lack of updates Acer, WHY?

A year in and it's still extremely rare to find this laptop, as with all non Predator Acer laptops nowadays. As of right now the only place to get this exact config, no 4K though is on the US Acer Store but if you're looking for the more serious version (the one I'm after) with 9th gen Intel CPU and the GTX 1650, the nearest place to get it is from Amazon Germany or Italy. It is sold from Alibaba China and on some sites in New Zealand too. It's a damn shame I have to go to the other side of the World to get this hidden jewel.

I've been waiting for today's Acer's event at New York. I thought they were going to release the new Swift and Aspire lines. They didn't so I guess they will be pushed even forward. It's a missed opportunity that might even contribute negatively since the new 9th gen Intel CPUs are out and these will remain with 8th. I noticed one thing though...the new ConeceptD 5 laptop got exactly the same specs of the Aspire 7. It looks exactly like the one in this video but in white, cool.

Hello!!
 I am sorry I bother you I bet you are very busy person but I am about to buy my first ever laptop and wanted a processional opinion on that?
 I am a university student and will need a new good starting laptop. I have came with 3 options with the same parametres but really can't decide wich will be better for me.. please if you can shere experience or give me advices, help me, I would deeply appreciate it. I will be studying Computer Science but I also do some video and photo editing as my hobby and I really enjoy doing it. I may work as an editor in my free time but this is nothing sure. The three options I found are:
* Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52: i7-8750H, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1050Ti, 15, 6" FHD IPS LED
* Dell G3 3579: i7-8750H, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1050Ti, 15, 6" FHD IPS LED
* Asus ROG Strix Hero Edition GL503GE: i7-8750H, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 1TB SSHD, GTX 1050Ti, 15.6" FHD LED, 120Hz G-Sync
 I am not a big gamer at all..max League of legends and the editing part is my hobby for now and I do not edit big projects..they are not longer than 5 mins. I know the screen is important but do not know which is best in terms of build quality, display, keyboard..I watched tons of reviews but I am very indecisive..each has it's pros and cons :/
 It's a bit complicated cuz I live in Europe and we obviously do not have access to all items but I guess converted in usd with the added ssd because most laptops come eighter with none or 128..I guess..around 1300usd is my bugget.
 I hope you can help me.
 Thank you!

Any idea how much the power adapter weighs? (and how big the brick is?) The lightness of the laptop tends to be ruined when the SC adapter weighs half as much as the system. (also, great short video!)

finally, acer made a damn good product with good tech combination. i am loving this way more than their spin, nitro, predator series of lineups. this looks an all rounder. curious about the vega m gpu, sound crazy if it can compete with a gtx 1050ti
