I love how you break everything down by simplifying each topic down to its most simplistic version and then reconstructing each idea making everything much easier to understand what you are talkng about by your ability to expand on each topic that you discuss.. So thank you very much for your intellctual prowess and thoroughness in your videos its made things soo much easir to understand and fully conceptualize for me especialy as a beginner .

The best sound professional I've listened to. He breaks down the informations bit by bit and leave no detail. Thumbs up man ✌🏽

Your videos are extremely inspiring. I've been making music for about two years and I'm still learning the basics, and I've never seen any tutorials or guidelines that are as focused on the actual journey as yours are. Your videos actually help and motivate beginners to take their first incremental steps and focus on actually making music rather than unnecessarily spending ridiculous amounts of money and getting overwhelmed by the entire process. I feel that your intention is to actually help people, and I cannot express how much I respect and appreciate that.

I’m trying to turn my basement into a studio, and I’m an absolute noob, like a more casual music listener, so I’m excited to work on this!

I've bought a linear PCM recorder from Tascam that I can also use as an audio interface through USB in my computer and I'm very happy with it. It cost me around 100 Euros

Thank you, your input will save me hundreds of bucks, I have the resources to get a little something going, but I’m part of a trauma unit that demands hours of relentless dedication . I’m making some extra time for music, it’s a much needed break from work life . The style of music which I would like make, mix . Or sample, range from Disco, 90s hip hop, early techno, trance, and todays hip hop loops and bass hooks which are circular endless, and pretty simple, just need the right melody, (sampling ) the drum beat, and my favorite that bass drop, I would like to create tracks for you tubers ending the copy write restrictions on sound bytes . For me, I have understood that sound is the most underrated super star of all time . The greatest movies would not have been great without its soundtracks . Good fellas, with Martin Scorsese du op, intros and performers like Dean Martin, Sinatra have all made movie scenes unforgettable by the sound they make with their music . Take away the great music from any video or movie and it turns into a vacant empty void with no reference to mood or depth, back ground noise recordings like NYC street noise or SuB way trains, super rich tapestry of sound bytes, it’s endless . Sound is the hidden champ . Thank your posting .

Good information, for years, live voices have always illuded me, with poor equipment. Using MIDI worked better for everything, but when mixing live or wave would start to destroy my recording. Partly from processing speed (and crappy voice) lol.

I love my Superlux HD681 - headphones for mixing. Geat Sound and a very good cost-benefit ratio.

So glad I found this channel. This young man is fantastic, great pitch, diction and ease in conveying his knowledge through this media. Impressive. Just by listening I feel I have learned (obviously not, but still good feeling) how to do things… Big THANK YOU! :-)

Regarding headphones, I'd hesitate recommending AT 50MX. IMHO they are a bit unpleasant sounding headphones, much better choices are from Rode NTH-100 or AKG K371 or more expensive K712 Pro. These are well made and very decent sounding. With Beyerdynamics be sure to have a demo first, do the audition before you commit to buy them or have a return option in case you don't like them as they can be a bit bright or harsh with some music and amps. Otherwise very nice video, good job explaining everything in method easy to understand for beginners. Keep em coming :)

You give a very good content, very clear and very well explained. Thank you!
I would be happy if you can make a video about VCAs, the difference between VCAs and Busses, the way how they act differently on the volumes - proportional and not (even with some "easy to understand" mathematic example)

Can you please create a video how to generate a desired sound from a synthesizer? Example, keyboard sound from Van Halen's Jump

Note that an Ableton Lite Live license comes packaged with Focusrite products, so if one buys a Scarlett 2i2 or Solo you get Ableton included. (I'm sure the paid version has more features, but I haven't even scratched the surface on all the free one can do)

Awesome channel! 😀 I'm not looking to produce music, but I'm hoping to learn how to improve my YouTube audio quality.

Hello everyone. I am just new here and I'd like to ask something.

I have here a Kevler Powermix 1000 powered mixer and 2 sets of Kevler KR 712A speakers. I want to use both sets of speakers simultaneously. Can I use the mixer for these two sets of speakers granting that the KR 712A are powered speakers? This means using a powered mixer on 2 powered speakers.

Thank you in advance for any response.
