Love the content Shane but there are some caveats in regards to data analysis. It does require learning some coding such as SQL a very powerful sought after database management programming language as well as Python or R for web scrapping. It’s very unlikely to land a job as a data analyst with just skills in excel and tableu because it often limits your abilities. Even the google data analytics certification puts you through a course on sql and r to prepare you to break into the field of data analysis.

Also, for those of you who are interested, I'm a senior software engineer but many companies have IT staff such as sys admins, desktop technicians, cybersecurity analyst.. plus each department would have managers etc so theres opportunity there and it's little to no coding. We use their help almost everyday!

Is digital marketing really a tech job? When I think of tech jobs I think of manufacturing, repair or development. If digital marketing is a tech job then McDonald’s is a tech job because the cash register requires use of an iPad.
