This is the "Pro" model and is 50-60 dollars more expensive than the cheaper model the "Plus", which has a few less settings. However, the Plus buttons for me were very hard to work, I had to hit most of them 5 times before they responded. It's frustrating to use the Plus model though it's only 99.99, still not really cheap, but air fryers with self-stirring like this using the rotary basket are always more expensive than the ones you have to toss for yourself. The rotating auto-stir models all give much more even results. But, I got tired of the balky buttons so I returned it. Luckily, I found a "Pro" model for about 40.00 at a thrift store. It was only missing the rotisserie spit, but I'm a vegan so no problem there. It does GREAT French fries using the rotating drum basket from raw potatoes cut into 1/4 inch sticks, with a tbsp of canola oil for 4 medium sized red potatoes. It should do any cut-up foods like this in the basket to perfection. Very good machine if you can find the "Pro" model, but they are never on sale, being a high end machine versus the "Plus" model. It's a big difference it ease of use, though they probably cook exactly the same.

I use mine every day literally. I don't know if I would call it cheap though. I got a deal but it goes for about $150 so is that cheap?
