This is easily one of the most amazing home-spun projects I've seen in my entire life.  I love the technical side of LEGO, but when thinking about my "expertise" with them, could never achieve a single one of those modules without some serious help from a professional.

Keep up the amazing work everyone!

I've thought of recommending you do a BTB episode with Tom before but I wasn't sure it would work well with your format.  I'm glad you were able to showcase GBCs and have him involved.

"Oh look there is a non-Lego machine! Lets build this super complicated train thing to skip these betrayers!"

It's amazing to see someone have so much creativity. Think about starting from a few million pieces and building that. It blows my mind how brilliant this guys is.

At the end of the day they should've cleared all the balls, then get everyone to buy an individually numbered ball, put them all into the start of the machine and the one that got to the end first won a prize. Could even use the machine to pick your lottery number. QED.

This is truly awesome !! Our 6 year old (Ethan) loves what you've done and it's inspiring him and I to get into Lego Mindstorms. Perhaps someday we will come to one of these events with our module...that would be so cool :)

This is so cool. Analogous to computer programming in so many ways. Too cool!

Motorized kits are so expensive where I am that I don't usually bother with them but I sure do love seeing ball machines at work :)

You know what'd be an expensive but awesome idea? Outfit the balls with an RFID chip or setup the the whole shebang to be filmed from a bird's eye view and use brighter balls for easier tracking and follow their movement over time. It'd be pretty mesmerising to see in warp speed the flow of balls around the table!

This video inspires me and is the reason I cannot wait for Monday

On Mondays, I go to robotics club at school and I started with Lego Mindstorms a few weeks ago. My first robot beeps, rides in circles and runs away if something is blocking it's way. I am really proud of it.

I fucking love Lego
