Auburn Football - Top 50 Rod Bramblett calls (HD)

Dedicated to the great Rod Bramblett and his family. The legendary voice of the Auburn Tigers from 2003-2018, who unexpectedly passed away far too soon on May 25th, 2019.

I hope you'll enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it together. This is an extended version to the highly popular Top 35 Rod Bramblett calls. Not only 15 additional calls were added, but also more extended footage of previous favorites plus a special tribute to Rod in the Kick Six video. This time, in High Definition. War Eagle!

The order chosen certainly won't suit everyone and am certain there are many favorite calls that just missed the list. With literally hundreds of calls to choose from, the calls chosen and order they were placed in were based on three main factors, the quality of -- or building a crescendo, painting a picture of the play for his audience, and excitement level and dramatics of Rod's calls, not necessarily the bigger the games.

All rights are those of The Auburn Network, CBS and ESPN.

I was lying in bed in my hotel room in Atlanta watching Bo, Barkley, and the Big Hurt on ESPN, listening to Rod's call of the Kick Six when I received a notification from my ESPN app that Rod Bramblett had been involved in a car crash and was in critical condition at UAB, while his wife Paula was declared dead on the scene. Later in the night, I learned that Rod had also passed. I didn't know him personally, but it really felt like I had lost a close friend. I used to listen to that top 35 Rod Bramblett calls video all the time. Every time Auburn won a game in any sport, I'd look forward to a highlight reel video with Rod calling the action. My heart was torn out.

Thank you for this updated video. Rest in peace, Rod and Paula. Thank you for the memories. War Eagle.

' than Rod. RIP Rod and Paula, and War Eagle. Thank you for sharing this with us rscotta831.

Normally, I'm at work during the Iron Bowl, but, I was able to go to the "Kick Six" game. It was absolutely crazy in Jordan-Hare. I couldn't wait to hear Rod's call. RIP Rod and Paula.

I was wondering if you’d remake this and add in more recent calls. I’m so glad you did, often I was unable to listen to Rod and Stan. I loved to do it when I could though.

It’s such a shame about Rod and Paula, not just because of losing a beloved sportscaster either, by all accounts Rod was a great man.
