A very good no-nonsense video with flies of the same vane. I will have to pause a few times to replicate some of your tying and try them this week on a wilderness river with spawning rainbows and browns. Much appreciated down-under in NZ.

Great little video. its really interesting to see the flys that work over there, we have some similar and some completely different flies here. The old pheasant tail seems to work anywhere. Your DB is very similar to a fly I use called a BC (Back Country) nymph. I would be interested in seeing a dry fly synopsis as well. Cheers, Craig

When fishing a double nymph rig using a triple surgeons not leader above your bottom fly do you use your heavy fly on the bottom or do you use you heavy nymph as your top fly so your light fly stays down more?
