These Celebrity Chefs Are Actually Terrible Cooks

People use the term "chef" pretty loosely these days. That's particularly true of just about anyone who cooks on television for a living. They've essentially all taken on the title of "celebrity chef," even though some deny they should carry it. Many of them are basically just home cooks who became famous through various means.

That said, even some actual celebrity chefs with culinary training and restaurants to their name aren't quite as skilled in the kitchen as they make themselves out to be. Or maybe they have a hard time with the business side of things. Or maybe their food just plain isn't healthy. Whatever the case, these celebrity chefs are actually terrible cooks.

Why did they put Snoop Dogg the rapper on here, LOL? He never claimed to be a Chef.

My problem isn't with these cooks, it's the click bait lies of this channel to have any real stories

If you need inspiration for everyday dishes then use these chefs. There's nothing wrong. If you want to make Michelin star meal then you need to have another set of elvated skills.

Rachael never hid that she’s not a chef, she’s always referred to herself as a cook

Being a celebrity chef has very little to do with culinary talent and almost everything to do with personality and marketability.

Don't beat on Aunt Sandy. She never pimped herself out as a trained chef. Between the booze, tablesscapes and copious amounts of Dream Whip, she is what she is. Her shows are fun and Sandy is a hoot.

Picking her was really low hanging fruit and lazy. You can do better.

Jamie Olive Oil has made Uncle Roger sad many times. He is no good.

Wait a sec, Snoop Dogg was a celeb chef? What's his signature dish? Sank-ghetti Rap-iolli?

Celebrity chefs have killed the industry for countless people that actually put in the effort and time to honestly aquire the credentials to become a chef. It's such a flaky industry it makes me sick.

Most "chefs" are cooks like Rachel & wow! Julia Child. Just because you want to be great in the kitchen doesn't mean you want to be a chef. Julia trained at the original Cordon Bleu because her husband was used to fine dining & in her words all she could do is burn water. No quotes as it's been ages since I heard her quote.

FYI...Scarpetta is absolutely amazing. I've eaten there. The pasta there is the best I've *ever* had. Don't be a hater.

I thought this video is about chefs who are not good cooks. The video is using the terms chef and cook interchangeably. Also the video is using bad business practices and bad behavior in choosing people for this list. The title for this video is incorrect. 🤨

If you've ever eaten at any of the restaurants touted to be owned by a celebrity chef, you'll know right away that image is everything and not necessarily the skill behind the cooking ware. Most of these "cooks" would never be able to hack it in a real kitchen, but cooking shows are all about marketability and image. If you can get a true chef with those added qualities, all the better.
