The new Pico trackers sound fantastic.. hope that maybe some companies like Meta will do something like that in the future... (i mean they already have accessories like the Logitech pen so maybe there will be some trackers in the future...)

It would be nice to see multi-model to include multi controller sets. When playing games like contractors were you can have multiple controller stocks for different weapons, it would be cool to be able to switch between controller sets without having to change stock per weapon. Have the controllers activate based on usage\motion when switched.

i'd love to see support for the quest 2 to use both controller and both hands at the same time, you could likely get pretty good full body motion prevision with that.

if they were planning for 2027 and lets say they did do it they should really add oled screens, the face bit they need to add a foam or something to make it so no light goes through, and maybe full body tracking some point

I wonder when you will be able to have full hand tracking while using controllers. Would be very nice for games or VRC (I am aware of full hand tracking there, but its not very functional tbh)

so where is the meta orion stuff :) also they had to add the multimodal because sometimes the controls are gone totally, if you have one disabled, ie headset unusable, ie bug. talk about headset phone. lol. is there not low light pass-through/position tracking cameras on the quest 2/3/pro.

Those imu trackers are borrowing design notes from those infrared eye tracking add ons that were recently made. Low cost, and cheaper way to track movement than cameras. Those infrared devices can work to improve body tracking on headsets, controllers, etc. They're cheap. A lot of the work is in the software so. Really useful
