Have to say the ST-5 ticks ALMOST every box for me...but the one thing that's missing - and it seems to be industry wide - is a minimalist zero drop running shoe WITHOUT arch support. Not everyone wants an arch support and speaking for myself I go out of my way to avoid them. To me the whole point of a more natural shoe (zero drop, low stack height etc) is that the ONLY thing that should be added (to bare feet) is a bit of protection from the ground. Do we have arch support when walking barefoot?! No! If humans were meant to have have arch support it would have been 'built in' - but it isn't!

I currently use Luna sandals for running. Zero drop, totally flat surface, Vibram soles. I love running in them but just sometimes I feel like I want a bit more cushioning so am looking for a minimalist shoe to alternate them with - at least till I get stronger or more used to them. 

I hope Topo (and other brands) consider this for future versions / models: Make a version of this shoe without arch support. If the inner is totally flat people can always ADD arch support if they want to - but they can't UN-add it.

Does anyone recommend another brand that makes zero-drops similar quailty to Topo? I don't like the new ZipFoam and now thinking of alternatives.

You never really talked about the midsole much in this shoe. I liked that you used Pebax in the Cyclone 2. Also, will there be a 12.5 size or does it go straight from 12 to 13?

The heel is so intrusive. I literally had to stop my 10k run because my heel felt like it was burning. Also the shoe is very stiff and really doesn’t meet the standards of a minimal shoe.

Q: why the back of the sole stick out?
Or it simply looks like that on the video.

I have two pairs of Topos: for road running and trail running. Like them both.

How structured is heel cup ? Many barefoot shoes got no any hard structure there .

Are you able to lift the tongue of the shoe for better foot entry....as well as work with the shoe

Love the top trademarks, don't lvoe the zipfoam. Even going back to my old pair of FliLytes bc the zipfoam is nowhere near as good.
