Thank you Sir John. Don’t ever think a song is ever “past”…music always teaches and reaches people and this one has soul and is timeless. Every version I’ve heard - recorded and live by you - is beautiful. It stands up.

My current favorite. And will be in my top ten from here on…and I’m no one but someone who loves music. This transported me back to being a teenager in a tough spot - which I feel I revert to often - where I am so beyond grateful for a new spark of hope in the form of music amidst absolute uncertainty . I have been searching for something and this was an absolute start and relief. 🙏🏼 the past few years I’ve struggled to find something that made me sing and feel at peace and - today it was this song on a random like song shuffle on Apple Music…

Life is weird in how it connects. I’ve claimed so many songs as family…today became a better day because of a singular song. Know the impact…I hope one day to touch people the same way. But for now - I can be creepy and tell others how much they’re heart and soul work means to a stranger 🙂
