So...the 'F1 25' My Team Career Driver Market list got revealed...
The F1 25 My Team Icons and F3 Icons are...underwhelming...

Would love to have reserve drivers in the game like Bottas, Ricciardo, Antonelli or Zhou Guanyu. Maybe if possible add recent drivers like Magnussen, Grosjean, Perez, Sargeant, Mick Schumacher even Mazepin. Also an idea would be to change ratings over the season or at the and of the season so the worse drivers are more present in the top teams and on podium.

4 e-sports drivers and 2 Braking Point drivers. Who cares?? Those 6 could've been used for 3 or more historic F1 drivers.

I wish they had the option to have some of the drivers who lost their seats last year. Looks like Perez will probably be joining Cadillac and would be great to pick an older veteran showing the ropes or someone who lost their seat. Have a Mercedes engine and have Bottas as one driver and a rookie. Or have a Ferrari and sign Zhou. Even having Magnasun or Ricardo. They had Hulkenberg as a "Icon driver" in 2022 so its not like this isn't a possibility.

It's just pure laziness at this point. EA has other IPs such as Madden, EAFC, and UFC that feature iconic/historical players and they have no trouble getting them into the game. We as a community need to push them more for roster customization, free agents such as Ricciardo, Bottas, Checo, etc. should be available for driver transfers so we can enhance our career mode immersion/experience. It's not a licensing issue, it just hasn't been prioritized. They clearly have the means to pull this off.

I remember when they added Hulk in F1 22 just to be signed by Haas. I think that might have put off EA from signing drivers like these. I knew they weren’t going to get Bottas or Perez as they would pay them for one year and likely just have them in next year’s game as Cadillac drivers. I think what would be cool if that when EA sign the F1 licence it includes the full reserve list of the teams. I can’t imagine it would cost much more and EA already have most of the likenesses anyway

Hot Take: Historic Drivers should be drivers who are in the Free Agent Market/Was in the sport the previous season up till like 3 years or something. We do not need Senna or Schumacher, is it cool? Yeah. Do we need them? No. What we need is more recent drivers, drivers that actually could compete in F1 again. Like Button could very well come back, he's still racing today. We don't need fantasy, we need realism.

They really need to give us test drivers and the ones from previous seasons like Ricciardo, Vettel etc. just cause they finished their careers/are out of this season doesnt mean they shouldnt be available in the market ingame. Need more options.

There is no way EA wants us to sign 2 drivers in My Team and then add so few drivers. I will just name a few drivers that they could have put and which I want to see, because right now it doesn‘t seem worth it buying:
