I am surprised that Dnews of all channels would use something as potentially dangerous as dry ice to make ice cream, especially as you can buy the stuff pre made for a lot less than the dry ice.

Ok as an experiment its kind of cool, but you just know some kid is going to swallow a small chunk of dry ice and end up on an electronic feeding machine for the rest of his life as his stomach got frost burnt.
What's next? how to make Jenkem or Pruno?

you should do it in a more safer way the way I do it is by cutting out a trough in a big piece of dry ice and pouring my ice cream mix inside and mixing it until it turns into ice cream that way you do not have to wait for the trunks to evaporate

Your ice cream is lumpy because you didn't mix the condensed milk with the whipping cream until stiff peaks.
