We just installed one of these on a Triumph Bonneville. The U bolt brackets it came with are junk and the instructions very vague. No instructions for proper tow in or lean out. We ended up plasma cutting our own brackets and bought a couple of JAWA sidecar mounts. Website said Made in USA but the crate was clearly marked China.

I wouldn’t buy this piece of crap. We’ve got one here at the shop and the instructions are vague to say the least and when calling the hotline, there are no techs available because none of these guys have actually installed this on motorcycle they just sell it and you cannot find any installation Help online.
It says stuff in the instruction manual that the 90° 18“ x 18“ bracket is intended to be cut at both ends, which can be confusing because it literally needs to be just chopped off at one end and you use only one piece of it. Furthermore, bracket number one that mounts to the motorcycle doesn’t do any good because you literally need to weld up your own bracket that has a degree or angle to it to properly fit from motorcycle to Sidecar which you have to do the same to bracket number two.
I say if you’re gonna sell something, you should have better instructions and don’t lead people on that. It’s just gonna bolt up.
