SNA app (SHADE NAVIGATION APPLICATION) Review

Color and shade taking in prosthetic dentistry is always a challenge.
With new age translucent ceramic materials this process have become more complicated than before.
Every dentist and technician has a workflow on shade taking based on lots of parameters.
A useful tool in this process in our practice is a smart phone application from Ivoclar-Vivadent called the SNA app.
This smart phone application has an interface , in which, information about the prepared tooth and the adjacent teeth can be inserted, and the software can calculate the most suitable shade of the future prosthetic restoration.
Also in this video Mrs Maria Spanopoulou CDT , show us the importance of the underlying material in the construction of translucent ceramic restorations, by choosing to fabricate two veneers of the same ceramic material shade and translucency but different natural die material underneath.
